Nowhere, Yas Island

hollyhunt38

Situated next to the Formula 1 Yas Marina Circuit, Nowhere is a large, stylish cafe with huge windows to let the sunshine in, perfect for a relaxed late breakfast. Breakfast is served until 5pm on a weekend, and there’s a large selection to choose from. Whether you fancy the classic eggs benedict or something a little different with the Beetroot Hummus Toastie, you can find both sweet and savoury on the menu.

Clearly not much of a hidden gem as there weren't many empty tables when I arrived at around 10:30am. The vibe is calm and relaxed, with neutral and simple decor.

I chose a little different from the usual avocado toast, and tried the Croque Madame. The food came quickly with a fried egg on top, perfect for dipping. Paired with a flat white and a cold orange juice, although not the biggest portion, satisfied my weekend breakfast craving. Don't worry if you're a fan of breakfast dessert, French toast and pancakes are available on the menu.

Recently Nowhere have opened a second branch in The Edition Hotel, Al Bateen and if it's as classic and calm as the Yas branch, I'm sure it will be worth a visit.

Highlight: Large breakfast menu, available late on a weekend.
